Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Get what you pay for!

Amana top freezer 11/17/2025

The product was what I measured and wanted. The wire shelving is horrible; items don't stand and want to fall over. My Top Freezer came with no shelf at all! I measured and had to order a shelf through Amana website for parts and when that came it did not fit and had hooks like for the fridge part not for the freezer, horrible!

Whirlpool doesn't stand behind Amana

Sad#1 9/25/2025

Moved into a new home, registered my appliances, my freezer had a freezer door bar that didn't fit. Called to get a replacement bar. Given run around something about when it was delivered to manufacturer. How would I know that. I registered a few days after signing paperwork to move into the home. Apparently warrenties are about useless. I will never purchase this brand of appliance.

Good Price and Needs Met

MHDC 6/3/2025

Our previous Amana refrigerator lasted over 25 years with few issues. Our new Amana refrigerator fits our needs quite well. We like the arrangement of the various compartments and were surprised that we like the freezer section on top more than our below freezer section previously. Plenty of space! Two issues we have with the new fridge: 1) it is quite noisy when running; 2) we had glass shelves before which worked better for us, we find more things spill with the wire shelves. Overall, happy with the new fridge and thought the price was very reasonable.

I have had a repairman out here three times. Purchased less than a month ago. BTW, Amana only covers your fridge for two weeks, then you are at the mercy of a repairman. On the 3rd time he had Amana tech support on the phone, They diagnosnosed some parts that need to be replaced, however, the clanking drum noise is expected to return, as the tech mentioned slightly.

This refrigerator seems shorter than my old one but is nearly the same cu. ft.. Maybe it's the black color. The top freezer needs a shelf that goes across. It's 1 big area and foods have to be stacked on top of each other.

Nice unit, bad quality control

Bob Z 8/3/2024

I bought this refrigerator less than a month ago. Nice appliance which sadly came with a problem. I have waited till now to comment until a repair had been done. It seems that the unit's door to the frig compartment wasn't properly sealed at the factory. This allowed hot moist air to enter, which led to water, water everywhere inside the unit. This also led to the unit trying to cool itself far more than normal, and icing on the inside. As a former quality manager I find this lack of quality control at the factory unacceptable.Repair was done fairly quickly under warranty which is a plus.

Less than we expected from the salesman's hype.

no thank you 1/12/2024

Pearson's Appliance SUBSTITUTED this model though it was a '318' that we purchased without seeing it. We were charged MORE for this model '308' and really would trade it for one with a better layout of shelves & bins. We did purchase a 5 year warrenty but it was taken as payment for the "upgrade". However, in reviewing the warrenty that you are offering, we decided that if a new refrigerator cannot be trusted to last 5 yyears without possible maintenance issues, we would rather replace it with one that CAN make it to 5 years. In conclusion, we are not happy with this purchase of your appliance at this time, but will make do until we can actuasllySEE an appliance before it is delivered. Have a nice day. REALLY ! We have to AGREE with your Terms & Statement to submit ?

Seal coming apart from the doors

MsGr 10/6/2023

I bought this refrigerator a year ago of course! As soon as the warranty was expired the rubber on the refrigerator door and freezer is coming apart from the doors. I have owned plenty refrigerators in my lifetime and ™€œNEVER ™€œ had the rubber seal come apart. I am a senior citizen and widow living on a fixed income whatever happened to appliances lasting for years. Of course the warranty always expires a couple of months before you have an issue. Not happy with Amana at all would not recommend that brand.

Good and simple Refrigerator with one MAJOR flaw.

Frankie V 8/22/2023

I just wanted a simple refrigerator again. I trust the Amana brand where most of our appliances are Amana, and are very reliable. I am sure this one will be too. But I bought this at Lowes online. And there is one difference between this model and one other model that looks identical. The shelves in the one I purchased are all wired shelves except the bottom shelf. This is a major flaw. Every product you place on these wired shelves falls down. It's ridiculous. I called Amana customer service thinking there must be a way to replace them with a glass shelf. I'd be happy to pay for them. Just offer me the ones on the other model which is basically identical. The serve representative could not help since there was nothing they could do to help. So, now I am stuck with a brand new refrigerator that will probably last many years and be miserable with stuff falling every single day. I will be saving up for a new refrigerator and certainly will choose a different brand since they allowed this inferior product to be sold at Lowe's. Very disappointed. Frank

Excellent

Bill Pruitt 4/22/2023

We have owned the unit since March 30th. It replaced a 1982 Hotpoint (which replaced a 1953 Hotpoint). Sadly, and I say this as a former General Electric employee, their product has gone downhill sine the Haier acquisition. We chose this unit based on price (it was the most reasonably priced unit and at a local "mom and pop"), it was in the color needed (black), and the size (both cubic feet and dimensions) needed. Ours is an older home with custom cabinets. Carpentry modifications would be expensive. It is a much more energy efficient unit and runs much less, bringing down the power bill. We are more than pleased. We are also pleased it is made in the USA! It is nice to see our dollars remaining at home. The only disadvantages were that we had to pay extra for the icemaker. Also, the spacing between the wires on the shelves could be a bit closer. Certain items must be "balanced". That said, the icemaker is excellent - we almost have too much ice! We have learned to balance the Ensure bottles so they stand straight. The unit is an excellent unit. We expect many years use from our made in the USA refrigerator!

Cheap but serves it's purpose...I guess

Disappointed Family Man 3/4/2022

We bought this in the Fall to replace the refrigerator in our garage but came to find out that most refrigerators now work on ambient temperature instead of internal temperature which in my opinion isn't a good thing and is very disappointing when you lose a full refrigerator of food. We have since moved it to our basement and it seems to be fine but inconvenient. Another feature that is misleading is the gallon storage door...it does not accommodate a gallon jug of anything unless it is a thin bottle not a standard milk gallon.

I bought this refrigerator for my garage, basically to hold beverages and as a place to store things that won't fit in the one in my kitchen. operationally its fine, the huge downside is the shelving grate surface are made with to white of spaces in the grid, meaning bottles and cans don't stand up well.... terrible design for my intended purpose. I now have to buy plexiglass to line the shelves to keep things up right....

Disappointed

wyghostown 6/1/2021

Purchased this model in February this year. After letting it adjust temperature for 3 days found that freezer was not consistent ranged from 0 degrees to 40 degrees almost daily. 4 trips from the authorized Amana/Whirlpool dealer's repairman have not solved the issue. Compressor was changed and new copper connection instead of aluminum was replaced. At least twice the whole cooling system was completely drained, tested and refilled with no change . Currently Amana review team is going to contact us as to how this issue will be handled. Not sure we want the same model unless we can be assured it will work properly. Refrigerator itself works fine wish the freezer did also.
