Had to spend over $1000 to fix the ice maker and the approved technician was never trained by Bosch... keep calling to help determine the problem. I will NEVER purchase Bosch products again. Technician keep complaining about how difficult it was to service. Please post this review because I'm going on social media.

My ice maker broke 3 1/2 months after delivery, when I called customer service the first appointment was a week later. Out of the blue, the ice started to work so I cancelled the appointment. Two weeks later not only did the ice maker not work again but the freezer died. The earliest appointment was 1 week later. The tech replaced the board and told me if that didn't work, there was nothing else to do. It didn't work and every night at 2 am I have been woken up by the freezer alarm. Once again I called Bosch to get resolution and now the technician must come back out to determine I have a lemon. The earliest appointment is in 6 days!!! Once that is done I can hopefully get my money back. All total my refrigerator will not be working properly for 7 weeks before I should have resolution. Will not be buying Bosch again! I wish I could get a negative star rating.

My jnit is barely a month old and finding it has more than amle interior space for both wide and tall storage. Unique no handle design could be improved so crmbs and other debris do not end up in the ridge for the freezer door.
Finally, wish the accompanying manual was more specfic on proper uses of tge two crisper drawers and the large bottom drawer. In the sbsence of such advjce im using the wide bottom drawer for drinks and cans.

I think this refrigerator is perfect! It make me happy every time I look at it. I love the fact that it has a level top; no unsightly raised area where the hinges live. The ice maker is low profile. There is an ice storage area in the bottom freezer so I can store large amounts of ice for parties. The ice/water dispenser in the door is unobtrusive, and the controls show easily when I touch the area. I love the low profile handles, which don't stick out. The deep shelves hold a lot, and make the inner shelves less deep so everything is easy to see. I love that the refrigerator is wide and can fit wide items. The shelves are fully adjustable. The fruit and vegetable drawers work well. The wide meat drawer fits many sizes from long ribs to short hamburgers. Bosch hit a home run on the design of this refrigerator!

The refrigerator is beautiful... and I love that fingerprints wipe off easily...... however I would prefer a handle! I also wish there was a way to monitor the temperature in real time. There are definitely spots that are much colder. And I have it set to the default temperature.

I have tried to reset the filter after replacing it, but there is no menu button. All suggestions even by Bosch saying use a combination of buttons, fails.
Something so simple should be made to be simple, not so difficult. I still have not reset the filter time, because I am still unable to do so.

Very pleased we bought this Bosch refrigerator. It is simple to use and doesn't come with a bunch of extras to go bad as other refrigerators do. Shelves have plenty of room and are easy to adjust. Plus the Bosch name carried some big weight in our selection.

I have written a review shortly after purchasing this refrigerator. Unfortunately, I wrote about disappointments in the layout of shelves and bins. Now that I have moved thing around in the refrig, I am happier.
We are more than satisfied with the lighting which seems to show no shadowy areas. Since my last review, I discovered the large wide drawer which I use for cheeses, is cattywampus. It comes out easily but not that easy putting it back in place.

The outside look is fabulous. Sleek and clean lines. The configuration of the shelving and door storage is perfect. This model replaced a 24-cubic-foot KitchenAid and holds a whole week's worth of shopping for the family with ease.

I have had this refrigerator for several months now. In this time, I can give you a complete review on how I feel. The temperature controls in both the refrigerated section and the freezer section are excellent. I have had other brand refrigerators that have not been able to maintain a level temperature nor properly cold. The Bosch is excellent in that area and I have everything wonderful to say about it! I got the counter depth model as I was limited on space in my new home. This was new for me as I've always had traditional sized refrigerators but even though it is not as deep as the others, there is plenty of room for everything I would want. There are a lot of spaces on the door as well as in the main portion with shelves to accommodate everything. And the shelves can be adjusted to accommodate anything that you would like. The freezer section is on the bottom with the large portion being on the primary pull out when you open the door. There is a shallow drawer that slides out separately above it. This allows you to organize a freezer a lot better than just dumping it in one main section. I am still getting The Knack of that as this is also new to me having a freezer on the bottom. The recessed handle areas are excellent also! No more handles that jut out into your walking space and make for one more piece that catches dust. The recessed are extremely attractive as well as being practical. The water dispenser and Ice dispenser are both in the same area. And the space can accommodate a lot of large bottles or full size glasses. It is not able to handle 40 oz type of jugs or glasses though. Overall, I do not hesitate in recommending this refrigerator to anyone. It is a fantastic investment and I feel confident that it is going to be fully operational for many many years.

My previous samsung had consistent cooling. My new Bosch is cold in back and freezes whatever is in the back. I do not keep a full fridge, but trying to keep items away from the vents is not always possible. Purchased all b9sch appliances, stove fridge, microwave and dishwasher.

I've only heard good things about Bosch, so I didn't hesitate to purchase one. Four months into ownership the temperature in the refrigerator dropped below freezing, froze the water tank and busted a valve that poured water into my kitchen and basement. I have been working with Abt repair services for seven weeks and it still isn't operating properly. As to date Bosch will only repair it and will not replace it. Super disappointed in the appliance and the response by Bosch. Buyer beware.

Our new Bosch refrigerator is working very well. I dont have a high confidence level in ghe ive maker as it is made of plastic, but so far so good. I liked the ice maker on our older Bosch better, as it never failed us. The stainless steel exterior is very nice. You can tell a great deal of time and effort was put in on the shipping by the Bosch engineers. One year warrantee on parts and labor just isn't enough to feel comfident in the product, as service calls are very, very expensive. I do not want to pay for a service contract, as this product should last at least 20 years based on the price I paid. Also, it has famcy lights and it may be a bear to replace lighting when needed. I doubt the lights are cheap to replace when neccesary. We shall what happens. Obverall, pleased to date after just a few weeks.

I was excited to purchase the refrigerator because I liked the styling and had a great experience with a Bosch dishwasher in the past. Unfortunately, two of the three refrigerator?freezer doors needed to be replaced since the finish was marred when the plastic coating was removed after delivery. Then after about 3 weeks, the touchpad kept giving a message that the ice maker was off and we couldn't get it to come back on until the repairman who came to replace the doors fixed it. About an hour after the repairman left, all the lights in the refrigerator and freeze would not light and the touchpad displayed an on/off button and message that said Hold for 3 secs. When we touched and held the icon for 3 seconds, nothing happened and the touchpad would not work at all. We called Bosch's helpline, but the representative was more interested in going home than helping us and basically told us to call the appliance store in the morning. We expected better service. After a few hours, out of exasperation we pressed the icon for quite a while and the touchpad finally came on and has been working for the past few hours(knock on wood). Besides these issues, we are a little disappointed in the quality of the appliance. The bins are flimsy and don't shut all the way closed. The drawer slides stick and cause the drawers to bind when pulling them out. These issues have dimished our confidence in Bosch's reputation and product line.

We purchased the 100 series French Door refrigerator in part because a standard depth (500 series) would not fit through the living room pass through into the kitchen. The 100 series counter depth would. As we had two other Bosch appliances -- a slide-in gas range and dishwasher -- both of which have perfromed just fine, we were hopeful that given all the negative ratings about refrigerators in general, this one would last. Sadly, when it was delivered and installed, we discovered that the freezer door had scrape marks on it right out of the box. We worked with the retailer who thought the marks were residue from the plastic wrap that covered the frig. Not so. We had the freezer door replaced under our 1 year warranty. Unfortunately for us, the day after the door was installed, the ice maker stopped working. we contacted customer service and followed their instructions. But to no avail. The ice maker still did not and does not function according to the product literature. We now have a bosch service technician scheduled to come out on November 4 to attempt to either fix or replace the ice maker. We have had this refrigerator for one month. This should not happen. Our last refrigerator, lasted 19 years and although we had it repaired and had its ice machine replaced twice over that period, it lasted a longer time than I have hopes for with this one. Whether this is a design or engineering flaw, Bosch's product design staff needs to build better. Thank you.

We were looking forward to another dependable Bosch appliance to compliment our 10 year old dishwasher.
When it arrived and the plastic wrap was removed by our delivery persons there was damage to the stainless steel doors. It was installed and three replacement doors were ordered. The refrigerator operated perfectly and in ten days the new doors arrived.
We expected a great product and got one along with prompt replacements. Thank you.

To say we're disappointed would be an understatement. While the fridge itself works great, two of the doors needed to be replaced after install. See photos.
After the installer pulled off the plastic, permanent marks or smears could be seen on one of the fridge doors and the freezer door. Even the installer said it was unacceptable and likely due to the adhesiveness of the plastic film.
So we contacted the dealer, and our salesperson immediately reached out to Bosch to get the replacement doors ordered. But three weeks later, we're still waiting for both doors to be shipped. And on top of that, the local repair person Bosch contracted lacked professionalism.
One of the doors arrived at our house and is currently propped against a wall in a spare bedroom. When I called the repair person to let him know the fridge door had arrived, he simply said, "I don't get paid to make two trips." So we're supposed to wait until the freezer door arrives, which will be another week or so.
We thought Bosch was a reputable company with great products. Instead, we had a damaged unit sent to the house, and the repair person lacked customer service. Maybe you need to look at how you go about quality control.

Received a new Finger proof stainless steel refrigerator today. After taking the factory wrapping off, I can not get the panels clean so it looks nice, it is all streaky. Calling support to see how to rectify this situation. So far, all else is good, it is in the process of cooling now. Sure hope this is not a Mfg defect.

After 2 weeks of waiting to have our 9 months old refrigerator to be repaired. The Bosch repairman said it would have to be replaced, but are still waiting for the engineers to review our case which could take2-3 weeks for an answer of what they recommend. Then it would take another 3-6 weeks to get a replacement or pay for an upgraded refrigerator, or request our money back.
It's so sad and disappointing that procedures comes ahead of customer service in this case. All our new appliances are Bosch and how poorly we've been treated makes us wish we could replace them all ourselves.
Bosch, PLEASE take better care for your customers than this. The whole thing has been a sad and extremely inconvenient experience, not to mention costly, for all the food we lost.

We were so excited to purchase a Bosch refrigerator! Thought we were getting the best of the best. However, a month into using our new refrigerator the ice maker quit working. The repairman finally came out after the second report of the problem and said the ice maker had to be replaced. We have been waiting several months on the new ice maker now. We asked for the refrigerator to be replaced because we need the ice maker! The refrigerator works well and we were pleased with it but they said no. They said no because it is repairable. Every week the repair company calls and says the part is still on back order. They are not a company you can rely on to do the right thing. So we are now stuck waiting for an undetermined amount of time for repair. No one can tell us when the part will be here. Pick a different brand if you think because Bosch is an upscale brand they have upscale customer service, because that has not been our experience.

Love the refrigerator! Only one thing that is not perfect is right side of the refrigerator, it's hard to close. You have to push the door very strongly to close it. It has a flap that needs to shut so it's a little more difficult. If you don't push it hard, refrigerator could stay open.

Overall the fridge is very good. It would be great except that 1) the icemaker has twice stopped working and needed to be restarted by power-cycling the fridge, and 2) the recessed door "handles" result in excessive finger prints on the door. Since there aren't proper handles this is unavoidable. Moreover, the advertised finger print resistant finish is clearly not a true.

Very nice well made refrigerator. Doors are easy to open and the shelves are very accessible. The only design issue is the "handle" for opening the freezer catches crumbs.
The icemaker is really quick and produces plenty of ice cubes!
