I just replaced and equivalent 13 year-old Bosch model with this new dishwasher. Comparing the two the new one is louder, the utensil bin is a joke and the rolling baskets are made with smaller cage tubing. Overall, after spending nearly $900 on this new dishwasher, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of quality, which has gone down since the Bosch dishwasher I replaced.

I bought my 1st Bosch dishwasher in 2000, that's 36 years ago. It never failed once to clean my dishes. That's right no tepairs in 26 years. So naturally I bought another Bosch. They are quit and effocient and well made. It's the only dishwasher I would buy.

I bought this dishwasher to replace my 19 yr old Bosch! Hoping this one lasts as long. I do like the control panel on the door and the ability to control it with an app. I like the 3rd rack too! It's just as quiet as my old one and does a good job cleaning.
It's not without its flaws though. Some of the tines on the bottom rack are not spaced far enough apart to fit thicker dishes or covers and I think because of this it fits fewer dishes. It's only my husband and I so not a huge problem but inconvenient at times. I also don't like the way the silverware basket floats around on the bottom rack...I can't seem to get it to sit straight it's always leaning one way or another.

While Bosch dishwashers are well known for quiet operation, the rinse and extra rinse are inadequate leaving the dishes with condensation and the inside of the door.

Just bought this handsome dishwasher and I love it. The normal setting cleans so much better than the old Whirlpool. Im not thrilled with the flatware level--too much trouble--but there is a basket and that level could be used for something else.

I am very disappointed with this purchase, you cannot load items easily because of the tines in the rack are way too close together with no way of adjustments. Had I known this, I would not have purchased it. Very frustrating, I did a Google search after being very annoyed with it and found out this to be a very common complaint. I am forced to hand wash items because they won't fit. It does get things clean but I would prefer not to hand wash items that I had been able to put in my previous dishwasher. I really wish I had not purchased this dishwasher. I hope this review can help someone else for making my same mistake. The racks are terrible, fighting every night to fit items in.

We have tried 2 other brands in the last 5 years because of friends and family recommendations. The others have been problems, usually when it's most inconvenient. The Bosch dishwasher has been leages ahead for quality and support. I will forever recommend Bosch family of products.

Expensive and small because the utensil holder takes half of one rack. I find myself having to use it more often because of the size. Smells horrible, chemical like smell and I have cleaned it several times. Can't tell when it needs rinse agent or even time countdown. Not pleased at all.

This is our first Bosch dishwasher and overall it is a good one. Love the quietness and cleaning results. I did not give a 5 star for a couple of reasons. First, not truly happy with the silverware basket as some of our utensils don't fit well due to holes being smaller than our last unit. Also, it would be nice if the panel 'CLEAN' light would stay on until the door is opened after a cycle. So, overall it seems to be a good buy but with that said.... time will truly tell on how long the unit lasts before needing replaced.

Installed the Bosh about 03/01/2026. It's the quietest DW that I have ever had! Better than quiet, it get my dishes clean on the "normal" cycle. One minor complaint, the "clean" light only stays on for a few minutes after completing the wash. It needs to stay on until the next time that the DW is opened, so another family member knows the dishes are clean!

The 300 series is amazing. It did exactly what a dishwasher should do. Dishes are always clean with minimal water pooled on some of the surfaces. I love the Home Connect app feature that tells me the status and the rinse aid level. The fact that there is no heating element and so plastics can go anywhere is a game change. Fours stars because I would like a finish indicator on the unit itself. Oh- self install as great. I've installed dozens of dishwashers, this wa ls a piece of cake.

Our Bosch dishwasher works great, and was definitely an upgrade from our old one. There are a few features we wish we would have bought the better model for but we've not had to re-wash any dishes like we were before. The app is both convenient and is only frustrating when I forget the set the washer to run. Over all we like it and would buy a Bosch in the future as well.

Dishwasher did a great cleaning job even without scraping off food much. Like the easy accessible filter on the bottom for easy cleaning. Love the 3rd track for utensils although world like them to accommodate larger serving utensils since they don't fit up right in bottom basket. Also like the app and WiFi updates on the status of the wash.

Since my first Bosch back in the late 1990's, I have never wanted another brand! This one is very good at cleaning everything! Where it could use some help is in the drying cycle. Even with an extra drying cycle, many items are still wet. Could be worse -- especially if it didn' clean well!

Bottom basket mesh too large/wide...cookware handles slip right thru them! Pod chamber too small for Branded soap pods. Requires effort to fit inside, plus the chamber door requires much effort to close! Recently, after a washing event, the soap pod was observed in the handle grip of the middle basket!!! No wonder the dishes were unclean! How and why did it come out of the pod chamber???? Basket handle and pod chamber are almost in equal height. "Normal" washing cycle > 2hrs is a joke! Opening and closing the dishwasher door eventually is going to wear-out...need handle that you can squeeze and release, not to barrel in the door....there are too many other issues with the engineering ot your dishwasher. Everything is about the ridiculous low noise level...direct your attention to the compatiblity of utilization. Quit bragging about the quietness of the apliance!!! Definitely this was purchase mistake....

I'm so incredibly disappointed in the racks! They are terrible. I had an 800 series dishwashwasher with wonderful racks that flipped up and down to accommodate more things and the silverware basket was slim and ran along the side. If only I'd known to save the racks! The 300 in louder, but I knew it would be. It has fewer cycles, but I knew it would. What I didn't know was it would have such different racks.

I bought this dishwasher after I reviewed the ratings in Consummer Reports. Was happy to see how well the design was for loading and ability to clean. One item that I wish it did better would be drying without RinseAid. If RinseAid is not used, those dishes are drenched.

We had a eight year old Bosch dishwasher and the machine was working but the racks rusted away. Hopefully that does not happen with this machine. We also noticed when the machine is done it does not leave the lights on to tell you that the dishes are clean so if someone else comes in and they just put dirty dishes in there. Our old machine the dishes seem to be drier than this machine. Overall I do give it a good review.

Hands down the best DW Ive owned. dishes super clean and no spots on glasses even using the speed cycle. the only thing I dont love about it is the silverware rack It fits only one spot and takes a lot of space...half the time I just dont use it so I have space on bottom rack for dishes etc. Heavy duty cycle cleans pans beautifully.

I've had my new Bosch 300 dishwasher for a few weeks now and am delighted with it. I have the model with the third drawer at the top (for silverware). It means the capacity of the lower drawer is huge compared to my old Bosch with the basket for silverware. I don't have to run the dishwasher so frequently now. It also does a terrific job cleaning plates after a simple scraping; no more over- rinsing the dishes. And it is extremely quiet - I hardly know it's running. I also really like the simplicity of the controls. I like front-facing controls, and this design is very good. Overall, I'm thrilled with the quality of this dishwasher and highly recommend it.

I bought a Bosch, because my friends all swear by the brand and told me it was the ONLY smart choice I could make. I wasn't crazy about it at first. It seemed like it didn't empty out all the way, and dishes had a lot of water spots. After reading the directions (ha! What a concept!) I learned I wasn't starting it correctly, and that a rinse agent is practically a requirement. Making those 2 changes has made all the difference. Now I love it! I especially love the 3rd rack on top for flatware. It's my favorite thing.

This is our 3rd Bosch dishwasher. We loved the previous two. This one is horrible. The features I like and use the most are buried in an app, which I often forget to use.
It used to be that I could close the door and press the DELAY START button and it was good to go; I could walk away and forget about it. Now, I have to remember (if I'm lucky) to use the app before bed to activate DELAY START. Same thing for the HALF LOAD function; it's buried in the app. What a huge pain. Do buttons really cost so much to manufacture?? Why does everything have to be an app now? It is NOT convenenent, it is the opposite.
Furthermore, we usually run the machine overnight. When we get up in the morning there is no indication whatsosever that the cycle ran or that it's clean. The CLEAN indicator light does not stay on! Nothing stays on, the whole display just shuts down. So the family is always wondering, are those dishes clean or dirty??

Purchased because of good experience with previous Bosch 100 diswasher. Went for upgrade but a few things I like: a bit quieter, panel display complete and easy to know where in cycle and when finished, washes well, but drying incomplete - especially in flatware tray. Don't like: tilted glass wear rack design good for dry bottoms with rims BUT inpossible to securely load stemmed wine galsses and takes up more space which decreases loading volumne, no adjustable tines therefore racks don't allow varied shapes to fit without threating the integraty of the fixed tines in botton rack, and not enough room in middle rack for the higher items on an andle, and only middle rack height adjustable by removing and replaceing on fixed wheels and is limited, and flatware rack only fits flatware, not other implements like spatulas, tongs, or soup ladels. I'm really noticing a decrease in stacking functionality. Somewhat disappointed but I'm sure we will learn new tricks and adjust, but I miss the conviences of the old, lesser model.

I'm a little disappointed with the new machine. Wine glasses are especially a challenge in terms of getting them in the rack properly. A page on how to load different kinds of dishes and cookware would really be helpful! I was also expecting to see the light that shines on the floor, but my unit did not come with that.
Dishes do seem to come out clean, and the machine is very quiet.

We really like our Bosch dishwasher. It's as quiet as promised, which is much appreciated by those who have had noisy dishwashers (like us ;>). And it does a great job of cleaning our dishes. Two primary suggestions: surely Bosch can figure out a way to dry the dishes better. This isn't a big deal - we were advised of it before purchase - but there's room for improvement. However, the main thing for us is that all the tines in the bottom rack are pointed at an angle, which makes it difficult to place larger items. Your dishwashers should have a number of tines that point straight up - then it would be close to perfect.
An additional thing is the lack of a user interface for selecting extended dry or sanitize. The instructions for doing so are quite, um... lame. I've installed the app on my phone, so it's not a problem for us, but I can imagine an older person really struggling to understand the user manual instructions.
So there you go. Thanks for all the fine engineering that you folks build into your products.

I have to say that I am very disappointed with my Bosch dishwasher. I bought it online without actually seeing it in a store. But who would ever think that a company with the reputation that Bosch dishwasher have would design a rack where the glasses cannot stand upright. The tines are not angled properly, and there is no stemware holder to flip down to hold the stem. The dish washer functions well except that it doesn't dry very well. But that glassware rack needs to be eliminated, and redesigned! I have called Bosch Customer Service regarding my complaint. No help. They say I am out of Luck.

Would not recommend for more than a single person; tines are frozen in place so can only take flat dishware. Most disappointing is the drying system which leaves you to hand dry all dishes and silverware
