This is my first, but probably not last, BOSCH dishwasher. I polled several friends who have owned a BOSCH for decades and the rave reviews convinced me that (even though not yet Consumer Report reviewed) that this BOSCH was perfect for my kitchen needs. And it is!

Took 4 months to get this dishwasher. I think I expected more. I am not in love with the top rack for silverware, however using it does eliminate silverware caddy making more room for dishes in bottom wrack. Don't love adjustable middle drawer. Found no real value to the collapsible day dividers either. All in all, my dishes are very clean and it is very very quiet. Not a fan of stainless, was under the impression it wasn't stainless and fingerprints are a real drawback.

My Bosch dishwasher was purchased to replace a ****** which overheated due a timer defect and caused a smelly smoky fire. This Bosch has a similar routine to set the program. Despite following the instructions for the air dry feature where the door pops open which seems safer to me, it failed. I have not called customer service yet but feel I have a similar problem as the ******. I will call tomorrow.

I love my new dishwasher. It is quiet and reliable. You do have to open it to dry the dishes. I had to do this to my other one but some may find this annoying.

I am happy with all aspects of this dishwasher. I feel like many of my friends have dishwashers in which you can put dishes that have food scraps etc left on them, and they will still get clean. I have not found that to be the case with this one, but with a good rinse, they get clean. It is quiet too which is nice!

I have never been totally happy with any dishwasher I have had until now. We run the Auto wash and the Auto Air with a delayed start. That way it runs while we are sleeping and ready to unload in the morning. We are training ourselves to not rinse the dishes and they come out clean. I love this dishwasher!

This works differently from my last one. I can't figure out how to wash and dry without it running 3+ hours and still being wet the next morning. Will reread manual again. Hate to dry the next morning. Maybe it's a Florida thing. The dishes definitely come out clean.

A great addition to a renovated kitchen. It works perfectly and is a great replacement for a 30 year old Kitchen Aid dishwasher which had seen better days. A beautiful compliment to our high end appliances.

I absolutely love my dishwasher. It is so quite, if the red light on the floor wasn't on I'd think it was not running.
There is lots of room to put a lot of dishes and pots and pans in it.
I did a lot of research on a lot of brands Bosch was rated the highest. I highly recommend Bosch!

I love my Bosch dishwasher. It is soooo quiet and cleans perfectly. No water spot on anything. My son and daughter-in-law have one and I knew they loved it. It is very easy to load. I have already recommended this dishwasher to several people in my neighborhood who are replacing their appliances as well.

This dishwasher is great. It's extremely quiet, in fact I'd say silent! The dishes come out very clean. With the top knife/utensil tray, there is plenty of room for a big load. We also like the added feature of the wine glass holder on the glass rack.

Not the quality of my old Bosch. Rack design very disappointing. I have many dishes that fit in my old Bosch that don't fit in this one. Doesn't hold glasses secure at all. Did anyone at Bosch actually try to load this? The interface controls are a mess as are the "default" selections. And it didn't even come with a manual. Very disappointing. Thought I could trust Bosch to put in the effort to produce quality and usability. Also noisier than my old Bosch. A very average machine at a premium price.

Overall love this dishwasher. The top small rack helps so much with space since we no longer need the silverware holder. Also love the auto dry feature which makes a huge difference. If there were things I would change it would be to have visibility of how much time is left on the cycle and I wish it didn't show fingerprints on the stainless steel.

Our new dishwasher had an E-15 error code at less than three months in. The Bosch repair guy said it needed to be replaced. The process has been time consuming but we just received notification today that a replacement unit with almost identical features will be installed, we are not sure when. There are always lemons out there, but if the company takes care of you then that lemon can become lemonade.

I love my dishwasher. I didn't realize that my old dishwasher wasn't getting my dishes as clean as they should be. Don't get me wrong, we weren't eating off of dirty dishes but they positively sparkle now!! A quiet dishwasher was a must and this one fits the bill. I do oddly love the third rack on the top for odd spatulas, spoons, pizza cutters etc. The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is not as roomy as I was used to. But I will lose a little space to have a quiet and clean experience

So far, so good! So much quieter than our old dishwasher! Cleans everything that we have thrown at it. It took us awhile to learn how to program it but I think we have it now.

I replaced an older version of this dishwasher after the heating element failed. It's a great machine and fits lots of dishes, pots and pans. Cleans well but the energy saving cycles leave the inside dripping wet. Dishes are dry but the amount of water inside will breed mold. The only cycle that dries the inside is the auto air dry setting which does the trick but it limits the usage of the features. I'm generally happy as this machine really has the best quality parts but beware of the energy saving cycles that don't work.

I am pleasantly surprised at just how much room is inside the dishwasher. It's taken me a couple of attempts to utilize all the space, but I have figured out now. My last dishwasher had an adjustable top shelf too, but was too labor intensive to use it. The middle rack on the Bosch is ver easy to operate - up, down, one up, one down, midway which allows more freedom for my big cutting boards and platters. I love that with a simple programming change, the door pops open after it has run to vent the steam. Another plus is how quiet it is. I actually can't think of any negatives.

We had a Bosch for about 18 years and loved it. So we bought another Bosch, this time stalinless even though it wasn't smudge proof because of our positive experience. We even paid more than for the GE Profile which was smudge proof. We're really disappointed. It seems to clean fine, but a day or so after we run it, there is a sickening smell that makes you not want to open the door. We NEVER experienced that with our previous one. It also is inexplicably noisier than our other one. Trying to keep it looking nice is a losing battle. It's disappointing to pay over $1,000 for a dishwasher and not be happy with it. We wish we had bought the GE Profile.

We were planning to ourchase the Bosch 300 series primarliy because of it's high ratings for reliability, efficient cleaning and quiet operation. Instead we decided to go with a 500 series which has a sleek stainless cover with a recessed handle.
It is outstanding and includes a third tray up top for silverware which we have fallen in love with...it is convenient and fully adjustible. We also like the end of cycle light at the base to let us know when the cleaning cycle is completed. Highly recommended !

I like it! Very happy overall with the 500 Series Dishwasher. A very suitable replacement for my previous Bosch Dishwasher of twenty-one years. Loving the flatware tray now that I'm getting used to it. It's a least as quiet as my old Bosch, and I love the projected light on the floor option that let's you know when it's running. Also love the optional automatic door opening feature at the end of the cycle. Complaints? The rack accommodates bowls less well that I would like, but much better than my old Bosch, which was truly bad in that regard.

Is it really too much to ask for a dishwasher to clean dishes? It was until I bought my new Bosch! It was always a guessing game of whether dishes would be clean, glasses murky, Tupperware clean on one side but not the other. My new bosch cleans the dishes...all of them. The silverware isn't caked with food, Tupperware are clean on both sides. Glasses are sparkling. Who knew...I had to buy a bosch to get clean dishes.
Oh, and it's got a cute glowing red light that shines on the floor to let me know that it's still doing a cycle . Why's it need that , you ask? It's so whisper quiet you don't know its running

SO Quiet, surprisingly spacious and lots of ways to customize interior racks to best meet the needs of your kitchen. Top rack is great for organizing flatware and other utensils. Also has nice features like automatic opening to air dry.

My dishes and silverware are noticably cleaner than my other highly rated brand that this replaced. My plastic and rubber lids come out dry, no drying on a dishrack till they're dry. I have only used the air dry options on them so I will not say that this is true on all cycles. The one time I did not use air dry the third rack shed a small amount of water but the dishes and silverware were dry. It is so quite I only hear it when the water is draining through the air vent and disposal drain, even if I am working right next to it.

This is the best dishwasher I have ever had. It took some time to get other household members to stop rinsing dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, but after they saw dishes come out sparkling clean after just scraping off the plate, they are convinced. I love the top rack for silverware and it is sooooo quiet. I'd never go back to any other brand.

This machine does a great job--cleaning and drying without noise. My only complaint is that it was tricky to set up the "auto air" feature. Had to go to the online users manual and use a qick, light touch to set this feature up--but worth it in the end.

The diswasher works as expected, but I would think by now the stainless finish could be made to withstand fingerprints, and not need a special cleaner. Also, I don't like being tied to Finish dishwasher detergent in order to keep the warranty. Why not make an agreement with Cascade; we should be free to buy our own products.

Once you have owned a Bosch you will never go back to a different brand. You don't realize how quiet they are and how well they clean until you experience using a different brand. We stay in vacation rentals a lot and it is noticeable immediately when you use the dishwasher it's not a Bosch!!

When our previous Bosch dishwasher finally broke such that it was time to get a new one, we chose Bosch again. We wanted the 800 series, but it was on back order, so we chose this one and we aren't disappointed. It gets the dishes clean and it's very quiet.

I couldn't be happier with my Bosch diswasher. This is a replacement for my previous Bosch. The machine is extremely quiet. Important because its location is very close to an area where I frequently entertain and permits me to do one load while guests are still present. Cleaning efficiency is great. I like having an optional third shelf. Very pleased with this purchase!

First time I bought a Bosch appliance, and after 18 months, the water pump started to leak. The repairman stated that it would be cost prohibitive to replace the pump, because the unit has to be completely removed and then worked on. So now we are looking for another dishwasher. It won't be a Bosch.

This is the quietest dishwasher I've ever seen. However, I find it hard to load and I don't think it holds as many dishes as my old Maytag. Also, if you look at the loading diagram in the user manual, there is no designated spot for bowls. You have to find room for them

1. I cannot seem to get the front of the stainless steel to shine - there are smudges all over no matter what I use to clean/shine it.
2. The dishes do not dry after running a load. There is no button for heated drying even though that was listed as an option.
