i do love your products. every tv in my house is samsung however this soundbar has been nothing but problems. i've never experienced a worse sound experience ever. there's constant dropouts in sound. every few minutes no matter what i'm watching or even playing a game on my ps5. i've updated the software. i've reset. i've unplugged everything and let it sit for a half hour. i bought this soundbar because i own the q80 qled tv(which i love). the best buy member highly recommended it for the q symphony technology. im highly dissatisfied and disappointed with this sound and the amount of money i've spent thinking it was the hdmi i was using. please fix this!

the woofer is barely audible. if i put my ear right next to it . . . eh, maybe? q-symphony does little but make voice clarity and volume go down and creates louder but overall muddled sound. smart things app required to tap phone to play music causes raindrop notification effect at random times on tv. speakers frequently don't return to last used settings. customer support has consisted of people who are obviously reading from a checklist of things i've already done who have less tech experience than i do and whom consistently put me on old to talk to someone else about the issues. even steeply discounted feel like i paid too much. aesthetically, looks great.

i thought i was upgrading from the hw-q60t with this unit. i couldn't have been more wrong. the bass with this sub is beyond pathetic as with the soundbar. i've had to pick the sub up to see if it was even working. this is simply a awful soundbar. i will be selling this as soon as possible and my original hw-q60t and going with another company.

Number one I am happy with the sound. Keep in mind this unit is not heavy in the bass department and the subwoofer required to be moved to various areas to provide enough to be effective. I have it turned up to 6 (max) with no room to change. The challenge was the HDMI cable that shipped with the unit was defective and would not detect TV ARC on a Samsung TV. After numerous calls with multiple fix options, including sending the unit back to the manufacturer, replacing the cable with a store bought unit solved the issue. They even said my TV needed servicing! With what we pay for this item, at least they could have offered a replacement cable and not have to pay the cost of a new one.

this soundbar produces very good sound. however, it does not sync well with my samsung tv. there is always a few seconds of overlapping sound from both units before the tv sound becomes silent. this syncing problem should have had a software fix by now.

i love my new soundbar. i wanted to upgrade to a newer dolby atmos capable soundbar and this fit the bill. i previously had a samsung hw-ms650/za soundbar. very nice soundbar, in fact i still have that soundbar, i'm using it in my bedroom now. this newer soundbar is a very nice upgrade. i added the rear surround sound speakers to enhance the experience. i love samsung products and i expect to have this soundbar for a long time

if you're used to having high bass response, you'll be very disappointed. the bass on a 2012 panasonic 2.1 soundbar and logitech z623 thx 2.1 is significantly better than this samsung model from 2020. according to the samsung chat, the louder you have the speakers on the q70t soundbar, the more bass you get, but it's clearly not optimized. anything below a volume of 20 results in very low bass and i thought the subwoofer wasn't working. i had to put my hand on it to get any feeling of bass. my settings are +6 on the subwoofer, it's connected via hdmi to my q80t 65", and it's in the corner of our 450sqft basement. i really wanted to love this and for $500 i would've thought that the subwoofer would be doing its job but it's only if crank the volume that it really pulls its weight.

so far this sound bar is doing great. i have owned 3 other samsung sound bars to which i have lost to the connection to the sound bar not connecting to the sub woofer which is how you have to connect. if i didn't like the audio on the sound bar i probably would look to another that had a much easier way to connect. i have had to throw away the other two. i own samsung tv, sound bar and two phones and buds. so as you see i am a loyal customer.ps. instructions are not the easiest to understand.

the soundbar itself works very well, and i am enjoying my new audio experience! i would give it five stars, but it took me a very frustrating week to figure out how to get it working correctly. my main issue is with the hdmi cable that came in the box. i spent a week trying to figure out why arc was causing the speaker to go in and out. there would be intermittent screen/sound interruption by the soundbar switching from hdmi arc to d.in every couple of minutes. initially, i thought of my tv, power outlet, surge protector, and streaming device as possible issues. it ended up being the hdmi cable samsung provides in the box. my soundbar came with a faulty hdmi cable. that was extremely frustrating. i recommend not using the prepackaged accessories if yours already work.

The Samsung HW-Q70T Soundbar was easy to set up and use. The remote control is simple and has just the right number of buttons to be able to control the features of the soundbar. The sound is truly incredible and provides music to the entire room. It is also nice to look at in the room and does not look like an eye sore. If I ever need another soundbar again, I will look at Samsung. Since I am a little older, my favorite feature of the sound bar is the simplified remote. My son set up the SoundBar so that I would tell Alexa what to play and it comes out of there, which is amazing to me and I love listen to music from the old days.

First of all I have been through numerous of sounds bars and always end up leaning towards Samsung due to sound quality I have a couple other favorite companies as well but Samsung is one of the tops... Ok so I have had this sound bar for about two months sure enough bought a new samsung tv and back Samsung speakers and it all automatically meshed together. Sound quality of great and very easy to use. Subwoofer gives it great bass and quality sound, make try to connect it behind where your sofa or seat is. The update design was a great plus looks great with tv. One negative thing I have to say is I couldn't figure how use sound controls with my actual tv remote since the are same brand but I'm sure it's possible. But do recommend this sound bar to anyone that is looking thanks!!!!

This sound bar is terrific it fit under my 82inch Samsung Tv perfectly. I recently upgraded my tv and wanted to upgrade my sound bar and wow they go hand and hand. The setup was simple and it came with the attachment i needed to hang it on the tv. The sound setting are awesome and I placed the subwoofer behind where we sit and to me it gave a boost to the audio providing a perfect surround sound. Another plus is it comes on with the tv and turns off with the tv same controller.

When the sound bar arrived it was easy to set up and have working in under 30 minutes. The base is rich and deep coming from the subwoofer so I have that next to the couch and the soundbar sits perfectly under my 65' samsung TV. The wireless connection between the soundbar and woofer is seamless and haven't found any delay in sound at all. The surround sound feel while watching the new movies being released make me feel like I'm in a theater.

This soundbar is nicely built. The casing is sturdy and the metal screen over the speakers is an excellent finish. Don't let the size fool you, this soundbar is loud. The bass thumps and can vibrate the walls if needed. The HDMI connection is automatic with a compatible Samsung TV. Navigating the options to adjust the treble, bass, subwoofer directly is not difficult at all. At first, it may be hard to realize that the volume indicator is on the right of the soundbar, but you'll quickly adjust. My family and I are happy as can be with the soundbar, we put it in our dining area and meals are now, "dinner and a show". Thank you Samsung for another quality product!

I'm super excited to say that I'm "moving on up" in the age of technology!!I realize that for some, this is a no-brainer; however, I think that many near my age (mid 50s), the notion of some of this technology can get tend to be too much at times. We get used to smart phones and those things that may feel a bit more necessary, but perhaps steer clear of the extras like "sound bars". Well folks, I'm glad I took the plunge on this one. If you're anything like me, you are getting frustrated by spending a pretty penny on a television, just to have tinny sounding audio. It didn't seem to matter what the price or model it was. We finally accepted that this is how it is. So, what is the solution? A sound bar, of course! Which one? This is the biggest question of all! The reason I finally landed on this particular one was not only my familiarity with the Samsung name, but I loved the Alexa feature. I am moving more and more that direction. Not fully there, but thinking ahead. Well, I couldn't be happier! This was a super intuitive system to set up. I really did not need to think a lot about things that I wasn't already knowledgeable about. This is super important to me! I want to feel confident and comfortable when I'm hooking up new electronics. I dislike items that make me feel so completely out of touch that I feel ancient! This is not that!!! Thanks Samsung! I need to add that now that we have had the sound bar for a little while, my husband and I have both decided that we are going to go today and upgrade our TV to the Samsung brand. We have the latest technology in the Hisense brand, but feel we will get more from the pairing of the 2 Samsung products. I'm really looking forward to being able to utilize the SmartThings app for both items. Pretty excited about this actually!

Amazing Soundbar with Full Room Sound

There is nothing like a separate cable speaker for a true theater experience, but the Wired speaker settings are not always suitable in each room. I wanted a speaker system that sounds great without all cables and speakers for my main bedroom. I am finally happy with the Samsung Q70T. The system provides awesome sound in a small package. The soundbar is designed to be small and thin, so it looks good under a large flat-screen TV. The Soundbar sounds great, and the wireless subwoofer provides more than enough bass for the media to a large room without distortion, and the fact that it is wireless lets you hide it pretty much anywhere. The dialogue from the bar is clear, even in the sequence of hard background actions or heavy bass moments. Soundbar also produces surround sound effects for life even with only 3.1 channels. All sound settings, including bass, can be adjusted in the Samsung Smart Things application which is an easy way to see all available settings without having to go through the small remote that comes with the system. The soundbar also features Amazon Alexa built-in, which is very good if you don't have Alexa in the room. Finally, there is an option to add rear speakers to make the system a true 5.2.1 system. The rear speakers' wire to a central wireless module that can be placed anywhere, so while there are wires, it is still less than if you had to run wires from the soundbar to the back of the room. The wireless rear speaker module at least allows you to keep the wires in the back separate from the bar in the front. Overall, the Q70T is a great sounding bar for the money.

I've had my soundbar for a few weeks, and I'm really enjoying it. The Soundbar connects to my TV every time I turn it on and off - without glitching or disconnecting. Another feature I love is the deep bass sound when watching movies. When we watch a scary movie or a movie with action, the bass on this soundbar is amazing and you an feel the sound vibration. The design of this soundbar is black, functional, and goes well with the design with my TV. I don't have any complaints about this soundbar - only positive feedback!

I am by far a technical person and heavily rely on my husband for all things technical, but the Samsung soundbar is so easy to operate. It took me over 6 months to get comfortable operating the remote for our TV, but the connections were simple. I do not like the Alexa part of it, but everything else is by far the best soundbar we have ever had. Now we need to add the surround speakers to it to make it a true audion system. When we have guests over, I no longer worry about how to operate it.

the soundbar work's great and connected to the new 65" class q80t qled 4k uhd hdr smart tv samsung tv we purchased it for, but the rubber feet that came with the soundbar are not tall enough to lift it over the stand that came with the tv. i expected that since i purchased one of the samsung soundbars recommended to go with the samsung tv we purchased and that the soundbar would properly fit under the tv with the tv on the stand that came with it.

Unpacking was fast and easy. Set-up was easy and sumple. Had an issue getting the battery compartment open on the remote, odd way to access batteries. Set-up of subwoofer was quick. Wireless is great, just plug it in to power. Soundbar sounds fantastic! Love the ability to change the subwoofer level so easily. Gives the room a great surround sound and movies are just great. Overall, a great soundbar at a great price.

I like the Soundbar. I somewhat had a difficult time trying to connect sync the speaker with the bar. I have synced my phone with the Soundbar but am still unable to have music play through it. It's something I will have to play around with. With changing the sound mode I really didn't hear any difference. I do plan to try to use it with watching a action movie instead of just regular tv. I do like the Soundbar and do think I will be able to figure out how to completely use it. The sound of the bass is great. I can definitely hear the bass even when my tv is low so I'm sure when it's time to play a movie it will be very vibrant and loud.

Setup thr Samsung HW-Q70T bar in my wife's woman cave. Connected to a Samsung Q90T television and I can control it with the TV remote control. The audio from sound bar is fantastic, I watched some YouTube videos with Atmos and could not believe what I was hearing from the bar and subwoofer. Sounded like a complete surround sound system. I was thinking about adding the rear speakers, but with the size of the room they are not needed.

I was really excited to receive the soundbar. The sound quality is superb. We have been watching a lot of Marvel And DC movies lately and the sound quality is awesome. It gives the surround sound effect.

Easy Setup out of box.

Set up was pretty easy, however the wall mounting paper could have been a little more sturdy, maybe cardboard instead of paper. connecting was easy as well, however I need to swap some of my cables as my Samsung 3d Blueray player would not pass thru the in HDMI port on the sound bar. Sound is good, but miss the 15 year old surround 5.1 setup I replaced this with. The app work ok, sometimes cannot find speaker. This a good budget minded speaker bar.

The love connection started with the design of the box; yes I am weird I know but hey lol. The installation of the soundbar and woofer was too easy; plug and play basically. I went straight to YouTube first and played some music and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and sharpness of the sound, and it gets LOUD. I wanted to watch a movie to test the sound and decided to use THOR for that endeavor. Wow! I live in a condo and I was a bit nervous about how loud it got but I definitely recommend this product. I also tried "tapped" my phone on the soundbar and it worked with no issues. I have a Samsung Note 9. I am just upset I hadn't purchased this soundbar before now. I am all in going forward Dallas Texas

I waited until we closed on our new home to install this bar because I wanted to pair it with our Samsung tv in our media room. The set up was simple. The best part is the Subwoofer being wireless. I took a while deciding placement and ended up putting it on the floor being the back row of theatre seats in the center of the room instead of in the corner. The bass is amazing. The surround sound is superior to having the ceiling mounted surround speakers. The room is completely immersed in the movie experience. I'm definitely considering getting a second sound bar for the living room or game room as well.

I am less the audiophile and technophile than my husband and often struggle with the visual clutter of numerous remotes for various devices and the connectors for all of the devices. This sound bar creates a clean, uncluttered option to fill the room with sound without the fuss of multiple remotes and visible wires. The integration with our existing Samsung TV was relatively seamless and operates easily with the existing TV and cable box remotes. Our prior surround sound system often lagged in sound control and was often non-responsive to requests for volume change. The Q70Y sound bar makes controlling your audio environment far more fluid. The sound quality is relatively strong but has a more limited bass range and ability to control the sound settings. Very tempermental/very frustrated

i purchased this sound bar along with the 85" q70 led tv. i have the sound bar connected to the tv through hdmi/arc with the cable that came with the sound bar. i keep getting a notice on my tv that the arc connection is not supported. it will only give me sound if i connect via wifi or through optical, neither of which promotes the quality of sound as arc. i have tried different hdmi cables and unplugged everything and plugged it back in. i had it working for a few hours and then it cut out and went back to wifi. the wifi connection sounds horrible (no depth) and leaves you with no choices to adjust any of the sound settings. according to a few support group websites, this has been a problem with samsung for a while.

so far pleased with the overall sound but have a continuing issue that i cannot fix. the voice sync is off and nothing i do will correct it. the sync process within the sound bar will make it considerably worse but i cannot lower the sync setting enough to correct the problem. it's almost like the settings need a minus setting, one below the lowest setting to accommodate my issue. very frustrating. it occurs on all programs but is worse on some not as bad on others.

I upgraded to this from an older Samsung soundbar and love it. The sound quality is amazing, the subwoofer is so deep, the rumble shakes the room. The only negative I have, isn't a huge deal. The way my TV is setup, I prefer to mount the soundbar under the TV via a bracket on the back of the tv. The soundbar has to lie flat in order to see the display, and doing that doesn't let it sit flush with the tv. If I put it on the side, it looks so much better, but I can't see the display. I'll eventually mount it on the wall with the brackets provided.

Theater sound in 1 Box!

Q70T soundbar is slowly growing on me. I liked how easy it was to set up. Hook up your power cable, HDMI, or your digital cable power up the soundbar and then the bass speaker and it should automatically pair. I definitely recommend hooking up this soundbar using the HDMI eARC the added benifits are worth it, for one as soon as I turn my TV on the soundbar comes on it also allows me to adjust the soundbar volume with the TV remote. The sound is pretty good in our den, I will say the sound every now and then leaves me wanting more But that could just be the audio source I may be using at the time. I have played some Amazon HD music using the fire tv cube and that sounds great! I will keep messing with the setting and update.

For starters this come packaged compact but securely which was nice. I was a little nervous about the set up but since I have a Samsung TV it practically set itself up. The directions are simple and easy to follow but I didn't even need them. I like how there is a little window in the right corner that shows on, off, volume level, and mode. Its good to know you're not just hitting buttons. For the price the sound was impressive. It remained crystal clear even at hi volume levels. It also sounds like you have multiple speakers around the room now I can't wait to hear how it will sound when we actually do! The subwoofer is good. It isnt anything chest rattling but i wasnt expecting it to. Absolutely worth the price .

The Little Big Soundbar!

I received my Samsung Q70T soundbar and set it up in my small dining area to a 43" Samsung TV. My initial thoughts based on the look and feel of the soundbar was positive. The soundbar is built solidly and the form blends well with my TV. I bought a 3rd party mount that supported the weight of the bar (again, solid build). My TV is a little bit older so I had to use the Toslink Optical connection between the TV and the bar, but once that was settled, the rest was a breeze. The sound for such a small bar and sub is amazing. It's only a 3.1 system, however it filled the room with all the sound needed to make it feel like a much larger sound system. There is a small display on the front right side of the bar that is fairly easy to read. It lets you know what sound setting you are on, the source, the volume level. All in all it is worth the Samsung name. I am happy with it, very happy.

Great soundbar... when it works

bought it awhile ago and at first it worked great, but now about every 3-4 weeks i have to unplug both my tv and my soundbar wires to get it to actually work, the sound will just stop coming out of it despite saying its connected. it was the only thing i could find online on how to fix this problem, don't know if it's because my samsung tv is older or what. the sound is amazing when it is working, but i have to be careful that the soundbar doesn't turn off automatically while the tv is still on or else the problems will start up again.

Perfect for the back yard patio TV!

At first I wasnt sure this soundbar was going to be able to produce the sound that I was looking for since I have a Bose system in my open space living room. However, once I set up this soundbar and sub to my backyard patio TV, OMG!!! Looks sleek and the LED lights compliment the bar. The sound that comes from the bar and the sub blows you away. The different sound modes make this soundbar a must have. You can hear the games and movies all aorund you or if you're playing video games the sound makes you feel as though you are in the game. I have the Smart Things app and if I forget to turn off any device, I just open up my app and turn my Samsung sound bar and TV off via the app. Alexa is built in and works amazingly. this is the first 3.1.2 channel speaker set I have owned and I am blown away!

Easy setup and Excellent Sound

Setup for this soundbar was incredibly easy including the wall mount. Followed the instructions and everything went well. The Subwoofer connected to the soundbar automatically once it was powered up. Soundbar became default device for my Samsung TV after connecting the digital optical cable. Sound was great through the digital optical cable but I switched to the HDMI connected to the eARC port in order to enable the Dolby Atmos functionality. Tested sound with streaming movies that supported Dolby Atmos and the sound was great. Surround sound quality was the best I have heard forma soundbar, still not the same as true surround sound, was noticeable. Soundbar easily connected with Samsung Smart Things. A popup window showed up when I opened the app, I clicked past it the first time and was not able to add the sound bar through the standard "Add Device" functionality so I had to restart the app to get the popup to show up again. ONce the soundbar was connected to Smart Things it showed up automatically in my google home devices. I was not able to set it up as a standalone speaker. There is supposedly a work a round by setting it up as a bluetooth speaker to a google home device but I have not tried it. Overall the sound quality is great, setup was incredibly easy, and it looks good wall mounted with ny TV. 4-star rating because of the inability to use as a standa lone speaker and also because the cable management could be a little better. The ports on the back are spaced a ways apart from each other so grouping the cables together for aesthetics is not very easy.

Awesome Dolby Sound Experience

I've been using this sound bar for last couple of days and every single time I turn on the TV and experience the awesome dolby Atmos sound. Compared to TV speakers this sound bar delivers great sound experience . I can't imagine watching TV without it. especially Movies. bluetooth connectivity allows me to connect my phone and enjoy the Sound Cloud and any other music apps. Smart Things makes life so much easier.
